​Every Era Hair service begins with a professional consultation.

Our recommendations are based on your hair history, lifestyle, desired outcome and, most importantly, the long-term health and integrity of your hair.

While inspiration images are welcomed, they are intended as a guide only. Individual results will vary depending on your hair history, condition, previous services and ongoing home care.

Where we believe a requested service may compromise the health of your hair, we may recommend an alternative approach or decline to perform the service.

Your Responsibility

To help us achieve the best possible result safely, you agree to provide complete and accurate information about your hair and health before your appointment.

This includes previous colour or chemical services, box colour, keratin or straightening treatments, hair extensions, allergies, medications, pregnancy or any medical conditions that may affect your service.

Failure to provide accurate information may affect the outcome of your service.

Estimates & Service Investment

Any quotations or estimates provided before or during your consultation are intended as a guide only.

Your final service investment may vary depending on your hair length, thickness, product usage, additional services requested and the time required to safely achieve your desired result.

Clothing & Personal Belongings

Every reasonable care is taken to protect your clothing and personal belongings during your appointment. Professional salon capes and protective measures are used throughout all services.

As professional hair colour, lighteners and chemical products may permanently stain fabrics if accidental contact occurs, we recommend wearing clothing appropriate for your appointment.

Era Hair is not responsible for damage to clothing or personal belongings where reasonable care has been taken and the damage occurs outside of our reasonable control.

Patch Testing & Safety

Some colour and chemical services require a skin sensitivity (patch) test before your appointment.

​

Where a patch test is recommended or required, Era Hair reserves the right to postpone or decline services if testing has not been completed or where proceeding may compromise your health or safety.

Retail Products

We proudly recommend professional products to help maintain your hair between appointments.

​

If you believe a retail product is faulty, please contact our team. Your rights in relation to faulty products are protected under the Australian Consumer Law.

We are unable to accept returns for change of mind where products have been opened or used.

Service Guarantee

We're passionate about creating healthy, beautiful hair and want every guest to leave feeling confident.

If you have any concerns regarding your service, please contact us within 14 days of your appointment. We'll happily arrange a complimentary review and, where appropriate, work with you to achieve the agreed result.

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

All appointments are subject to Era Hair's current Booking Policy.

By making a reservation with Era Hair, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted our Booking Policy, including our policies relating to appointment reservations, deposits, cancellations, rescheduling and late arrivals.

Photography & Marketing

We love celebrating beautiful hair and the work of our talented team.

Where a client is identifiable in a photograph or video, we will always seek your permission before capturing or using the content. Images that focus solely on your hair and do not identify you may be used to showcase our work unless you let us know that you would prefer they not be used.

If you do not wish for your hair or image to be photographed or shared, simply let a member of our team know before or during your appointment, and we will happily respect your preference.
